Added my truck to the Amazon Garage and it showed this part as a direct fit. The connector fits, and the snap ring on top does snap into the bracket. The plunger stem is about half an inch too tall. When compared to the original. Did not notice it during installation, but certainly noticed when I closed the hood and it broke the new switch.

My 2009 SRT Challenger wouldn't remote start. After a year, I finally figured out why. The hood switch was missing. I put a resistor in there to get it to work, but I wanted the OEM function so I purchased the switch. Easy install, and works as it should.
