Nice simple A frame guitar stand. The quality is good, and it is easy to set up. It is stable and I have no concerns with it falling apart. I like the size and the ability to fold it up as well. You get more than what you pay for, works great!

This guitar stand is just what we needed: somewhere to safely hold the guitar between jam sessions. It's working great for us!

As is, this a pretty neat stand. The arms can be adjusted to accommodate various shapes to keep your guitar/bass straight up & down. It's quite light and looks good. Some of the not so great stuff... it doesn't feel too sturdy, like the screws may strip out of it. But it is holding up fine so far. Another issue (which might not be an actual issue) is the orientation of the base legs in relation to the A-framed upright. In my mind It's 180° from where it should be. Probably looks better this way.

It’s about the same price as all the other wood A-frame stands, which is more than a metal A-frame guitar stand. They're all pretty similar in design. This one is wood, so if you like a natural look, you may prefer this to a metal one. I have a bunch of metal stands also. Unlike the metal alternatives, you'll have to do some very easy assembly work on this one. Follow the instructions carefully as to which way to fit the pieces and you will have no problem. The padded arms are of good quality and have the standard bends. The wood is smooth and the finish is good. The area at the top of the stands that the guitar rests on has thin (but adequate) padding that covers the wood there completely. The finish is a sort of reddish/orange color that I personally found attractive.

I was torn between 3 and 4 stars. Had this assembled with no issues, I'd have given it 5 stars. Now that I fixed it, it's great. It looks great, and I love that it can hold my headless guitar because of the shape and moveability of the lower arms. Love it.But if you are not a handy person, this would have been trash. It assembles only with a couple hex screws, and includes the wrench, great. But the one screw which screws into a factory inset metal bushing wouldn't seat. It threaded fine, but when I tried to tighten it, the bushing would pull out... it was like either the hole beneath the bushing wasn't drilled deep enough or the screw was too long.I had to pound the pushing back in, super glue it in place, then put a few washers on the screw before I screwed it in so that it wouldn't go to deep and could be tightened. Now, it works great, and my headless is happily sitting on it.

The first thing you notice when you open the box of this guitar stand is the wonderful smell of cedar wood. That’s a nice first impression.Assembling this guitar stand is quick and easy with the provided Allen wrench. One thing to take note of, however: you need to thread the padded arms into the wood and screw them in. They don’t just slide through the hole and tighten with the wing nut on the back. That really isn’t a problem, though, and it makes the padded arms more solid and sturdy. The padding the back of the guitar rests on is OK. It’s just a thin layer of foam and could be thicker. The arms that hold the “bottom” of the guitar when it’s in the stand are very well padded. The bottom arms are long enough to easily hold both acoustic as well as electric guitars. This is a nice stand. It’s solid, sturdy and made of real wood. I would recommend it, especially for acoustic players.

This unit is well built, and has certain advantage over many of the metal alternatives. First of course, you might like to have a bit of wood rather than a bit of metal in your workspace. Second, the relatively thin padding for the back of the guitar is actually better than the thicker pads that are common on many stands. These things are just glued on, and a thick pad provides many opportunities for something to catch on it and pull it off. Third, the support arms can be rotated and locked into a rotated position. This really helps if you want to put the guitar down and not unplug it; you can figure out how to set those arms so they do not interfere with your cable plug. There is only one minus, which is that this unit is not what you want to have for takedown, move, setup again type of work. Some metal units can be lighter than this one, and often metal units can be easy to break down into small folded up things which are easy to throw in some bag.Like all such stands, you will probably want a right-angle plug if your jack is at the very bottom of the body; and it will indeed hold pretty much any kind of guitar, including a bass.

I was originally planning on using this stand for a ukelele as mentioned in the product description that it would fit, but it's entirely too large. The wood and parts are cheap, and I cracked a piece of the wood off the stand trying to screw in the first leg attachment immediately out of the box. I like the color, but I haven't even been able to fully put it together with issues with the screws and hole placements. Buyer beware
