Looked exactly as shown. It is made of wood, but a very light wood. I ordered a personalized plaque from a different site and affixed it to the lighthouse as a memorial. It turned out cute and was nice for a keepsake. Really cute when the lights are on.

I guess there's always one. Well, I got the one that slipped past QC. All 3 screws are not flush. The stick up.The light housing does not fit. The gap actually shows one one the wires. I should send it back. My experience is that the next one is just as bad. I hope all the rest of you got well made houses.

This is SO cute! I have used this a few months now with the timer set to be on at 6p. Havent had to replace the batteries yet (probably just jinxed myself). I love the glow of the little light. Looks great on my fireplace! Happy purchase! 😊
