true to size and is holding up well. i am using this for my Shopsmith V lathe tool rest (top adjustment with the longer stud) solid ratchet mechanism and is holding my rest in place well.

I use this for the carriage lock on my old Logan Model 200 lathe. It angles up just a tiny bit too much, interfering slightly with the compound wheel, but otherwise works perfectly and saves me having to keep track of a wrench.
