This set is very nice and comes with copper straws and a copper shot glass (I’m assuming so) which is pretty cool. Was only expecting the copper mugs so it was a nice surprise. Came in a fancy box as well. They’re great to use and I was told copper is better to drink from than stainless steel. They’re also great if you fancy Moscow mules. Me, I love these just to drink my cold drinks in and the straws are awesome because I definitely could always use more straws than what I already have. The one thing I noticed is that it doesn’t come with a straw pipe cleaner to clean your straws, but it wasn’t too much of a bother because I have so many in my drawer to clean my other straws. I would suggest getting a cheap one here on Amazon you can use if you don’t already have one. They’re pretty lightweight and can be cleaned easily by hand or by dishwasher. So far I’m loving these.

Review for 4 pack of mugs, straws and 1 shot glassMy 1st impressions the box that seemed like it had gotten wet at one point and had a musty smell, very strange. The copper mugs are beautiful, straws and the shot glass. The mugs have a very good look. Holding the mugs the handle where it ends on the mug, has sharp edges on the top and bottom of the loop. What I don’t like the box it came is seems old and had gotten wet at some point. I really don’t like the sharp edges on the copper handles, this is noticeable when holding the mug.Overall 4.3 bases on the quality of the product and the price during the review was 35.00.

The set comes with 4 Moscow mule mugs, 4 straws, and a shot glass. They seem sturdy and well-made. My only complaint was that they had a distinct odor to them upon first opening the box, and the packaging material was very flimsy - the fabric used to cover the cheap styrofoam was already fraying and coming apart, and pieces of styrofoam were everywhere. If giving it as a gift, you should open it and clean everything up (and air it out) first. Otherwise we are happy with this set and use it quite frequently in our bar area.

A noticeable metallic taste was detected when drinking bottled water from these copper mugs. Makes me wonder if these copper mugs are safe to use for holding beverages. If there is a possible health or safety issue with these copper mugs, then it really doesn’t matter how beautiful they are, or that the copper mug kept my water cool. The primary function of the copper mug is to be able to provide me with a safe drinking experience. I don’t feel that is happening; therefore, I will not be drinking from these copper mugs. Before doing a review for this product, it was important to me that I have first-hand experience with how these copper mugs function. So, I did an experiment. I controlled and limited as many variables as possible while conducting my experiment. Prior to conducting my experiment, I thoroughly hand-washed and dried the copper mug.The following are the details for my experiment.• Experiment was performed on kitchen counter in an 80-degree kitchen.• An unopened bottle of chilled, plain, Kirkland water, taken out of the refrigerator, was used for this experiment.• Half of the bottle of water was poured into the copper mug.• The bottle cap was put back onto the water bottle.• Nothing was added to the water in the copper mug. Not even ice.• I then tasted both the water poured into the copper mug and the water that remained in the bottle.• They tasted the same.• For two solid hours, the water in the copper mug and the remaining water in the opened bottle of Kirkland water, set on the kitchen counter, side by side, where they remained untouched and undisturbed for the two solid hours.• During the two hours, I did not eat or drink anything at all. Nothing. I wanted to prevent any errant flavors or tastes from being in my mouth and effect the results of this experiment.• After 2-hours, I compared the water in the copper mug with the water that remained in the water bottle.• I noticed that the handle on the copper mug felt cool.• The water in the copper mug was also cool.• The remaining water that was in the capped Kirkland water bottle was not as cool as the water that was in the copper mug.• I noticed a difference in taste between the water in the copper mug and the water in the Kirkland water bottle.• I repeatedly tasted and compared the two samples of water.• The water in the copper mug clearly and distinctly had a metallic taste.• Two hours earlier, at the onset of my experiment, the water in the copper mug did not have a metallic taste.• Therefore, I concluded that the copper mug had leached something into the water that caused it to acquire a metallic taste.
