This is exactly what I needed for my 2008 Victory Vision after the factory Polaris part melted down. The wires are bot longer which makes install easy. Just wire tie the extra wire wire length and tuck it up and out of the way.

I bought this item 18 months ago for my 2011 Victory Cross Country, overall it worked well.Yesterday I suspected that something was wrong because the voltage was going a little bit down when I hit the brakes. I disconnected the connector to measure voltages and found out it was melted. Looks like, even though is supposed to be waterproof, water entered into the middle cable from the regulator side and corroded the connector, which also overheated and melted. And the bad of all this is it screwed up the stator connector, which has a short cable and is difficult to replace.My advice here is be careful, add something to waterproof the connectors because they are in a lower place and get water constantly. They are supposed to be watertight but sometimes they are not.

This regulator lasted me about six weeks. It ended up dying a couple weeks before I was due to leave on a trip. I replaced it with a Hotshot brand regulator from Ricks Motorsport Electrics and never looked back.

I received it finally after a week, installed on my 2010 Victory Cross Country. I rode my bike to watch the game yesterday without problems, but as I rode to and from work today I noticed that the charging was just making 12 V. And was dropping even lower on my way home. PS. I installed a brand new battery while replacing the regulator. Update.. I decided to look further into the stator and determined that it may have been the root of the problems. Replaced the stator today and my bike appears to be operating correctly???

Installed it on a 2008 Victory Vision. First one I installed was defective and I returned it. The company immediately sent a replacement part , I installed it again and it has worked perfectly.
