My 11yo son got a Mongoose BMX bike this Christmas but the default seat that came with it kept hurting his tush, so I went searching for a replacement on here. I gota say I’m extremely impressed. I’m a single mom with no actual bike maintenance knowledge but I have a cousin who’s all about bikes. Anyways, he wasn’t available locally and I didn’t even look up videos before installing this (or researching size for that matter), but somehow this was exactly right and very easy to install, and after tightening everything and checking to make sure all angles were evenly balanced, the value and comfort of this surpassed my expectations. The seat quality itself looks crazy expensive and its extremely soft, feels almost like gel! My son immediately fell in love and took a seat (mind you he is a little on the heavier side now) and I saw no distortion in looks after he stood up, the seat didn’t angle in any way, and I even banged it on the floor a bit to check if it needed anymore tightening but so far so good. I will attempt to update on functionality after a few good uses, my son is very excited to use this :D

Description said this seat is "universal" and fits most bicycles. However it was not compatible with the seat mount post on my Hiland mens hybrid bike. Had to return it.

Regular seats that are on bikes are little and have no padding. This is nice and thick gel seat.Easy to put on. I will get another one for my spouse.

Most comfortable bike seat I've ever used. I had a hand-me-down road bike that came with an extremely narrow seat. I'm not doing any aerodynamic racing, just casual family cruising at parks and bike paths, so I wanted a more comfortable seat. This has such a great amount of cushion, and the perfect shape to still allow for comfortable pedaling without digging into anything or causing fatigue. The shell seems pretty resilient to weather, wear and tear, but it also came with an elastic seat protector which I'll be using while the bike is parked outdoors. Very satisfied with this item!!

Needed to replace the cracked seat on my old trek cruiser and this looked like a comfortable option.I'm trying to get back into riding more (good for the environment and me after all) and when I got my bike out I noticed the oem seat was cracking & peeling. I wanted a wide seat as I find the narrow saddles to be uncomfortable and this one claims to be the "most comfortable" so I felt it was a great choice.I appreciated the different installation options and while I think I could have used the universal adapter I found that my seat post has the dual rail system so I went with that. Installation was quick and straight forward.Testing the seat I find it to be pretty squishy and I don't really see myself getting "saddle sore" using this. The ventilation hole didn't really seem to make a big impact but I think it's a case of better to have and not need than need and not have. The reflector in the back works but the vehicle code for my municipality says it has to be visible at 500ft so I have an actual tail light so there's no chance of being hassled.The only question I really have regarding this seat that I can't answer is how long is it going to last. The seats nice and comfy and the "shocks" are squishy and it feels great but I just hope it holds up for a few seasons.Bottom line: If you want comfort this is a great choice.
