This looks very nice from the front and sides. The small white battery compartment does show from the back unless you have extra hair to cover it. I was going to take a star off for that, but I don't know how else the design could be done. The small white box is as innocuous as you can make it. Otherwise, it's very comfortable to wear and stays in place. This is excellent for any time you want a light-up tiara.

Got this as a general cosplay piece as I do eventually want to do an elven princess look. It's cute, with an adjustable tie, and multiple light modes including a fast and slow blinking. That being said, it will take some hair adjustments to cover the switch box, which is thankfully near the back. If you've got short hair, it's probably best to wear this with extensions or a wig.
