Operated fine for three months after which it will automatically turn on but will not shut off. Yes, I have attempted to readjust the three potentiometers to no avail. Sad.

Does a good job, but I wish the motion detector had a wider area of detection. Also wish it would stay on for 3-5 minutes instead of what seems like only a minute (haven't bothered to actually time it).

Got this for a hall closet/pantry with bifold louvered doors. Wanted it to go on when we reached into the closet and not when walking by. Wanted it to work regardless of outside illumination. Wanted it to stay on while we get things off the shelves and go off shortly after we leave. Works perfectly in all these situations.. Can be set to come on in daytime or only if it’s dark. Can be set to activate only with motion from a close distance or from farther away (we chose close). Can be set to stay on for only a few seconds when we’re done or several minutes (we chose only a few seconds). In other words, it works perfectly for us. Works well with LED.

Just as advertised. Every time I walk into my pantry, the light comes on, and I don't have to free a hand to turn it off when I leave.

I did use a three outlet adapter to offset the unit to be able to use the outlet for plugging in other things.

My remote garage door opener was irritating me, so I wanted to get rid of it. Almost spent $100 on a motion sensing shop lite when I stumbled across these. Perfect solution and they work perfectly. I bought 2, 1 for each ceiling outlet.

I’ve tested many motion sensor outlet options and this is the best. It has the longest, widest range (truly captures movement 180 degrees off to the side of the sensor) and tolerates stationary walls and obstacles being always in the field of vision of the sensor (for some reason I’ve found some other products can keep getting triggered “on” if the field of vision always incudes a long nearby wall or branch or cord, such as if you hang such other sensors from a ceiling outlet right near where the ceiling meets the wall). What I really wants out of this was a motion AND light sensing INCANDESCENT nightlight. Those few faithful diehard incandescent nightlight fans like me will note there is only currently ONE nightlight for sale on Amazon, other than this product, which is motion AND light sensing, and this other product’s field of vision and responsiveness are far inferior to this one listed here. (Also this other product I’m talking about lacks an opaque panel covering the front of the light, so it is glaring.) what I’ve done with this product here is bought two of them. In one I put an lightbulb outlet splitter with three S11 bulbs. These are the dimmest bulbs you can buy with a standard (non-candelabra) base. In the other one I put a torpedo-shaped bulb and bought a lampshade that clips onto such bulbs to create a mini lamp hanging from my wall. I’m very satisfied with this setup. Each of the lights are in windowless rooms that i often pass through in route to another destination. I bought trapezoid-shaped outlet extenders and plugged each into the outlet that is on the same wall as the door through which people enter each room. and then I plugged this sensor light product into the slanting part of the trapezoid so that the sensor’s direct line of sight makes about a 45 degree angle with the imaginary line tracing the direction people walk through the door. The sensor works beautifully in this position so that it is usually triggered merely by the act of opening the door itself before a person even enters the room. My only complaint is that if you use incandescent bulbs rather than LEDs, the incandescent bulb seems to heat the unit up, which seems to keep triggering the motion sensor, since the sensor seems to work by sensing body heat, and it becomes unreliable when the unit becomes hot to the touch. So if I plug a standard sized incandescent lightbulb into the unit, and I have the timer set to leave it on too long once motion is sensed, the light will heat the unit up and then leave it “on” forever because a vicious cycle is created where the heat of the bulb keeps retriggering the sensor. Or at least I assume that is why it is happening. I don’t have this problem if I use LEDs or smaller, cooler incandescent bulbs like S11 or S14 size. Screwing in a bulb outlet extending adapter (this kind of thing looks like a posable metal hose with a male lightbulb socket on one end and a female on the other) to the unit might alleviate this problem by placing the position of the bulb away from the sensor, but I haven’t tried that. Anyway, they issue with hot incandescent bulbs is the only reason I docked a star. Love this product. I think it’s the best in its category right now on Amazon.

The adjustments don't work on the product I received. It looks like the adjust dials should work with a Philips head screwdriver but I can't get them to move at all. Tried various tools. Currently all I have is a light that comes on for about 8 seconds which is useless.10/8/23 update: I fiddled around with this product to get the adjustments to adjust. I finally achieved some success; enough so that I can use the product. the directions said to use a flat head screwdriver; I did that and it still took some effort.
