Product works well. I’ve actually had them for three years and the sensor with the dust till Dawn option still work if you’re looking for reasonable, priced outdoor lights this will do the trick.

I like the fixture, however the only thing that I would want prospective buyers to know is that it has 3 levels of functionality selected by a switch under the cap of the fixture. The instructions are kinda helpful, but feel like they were written in a foreign language that was translated to English. It feels like some of the important details were lost in translation. First, make sure the bulbs you buy can be dimmed. As far as the switch is concerned - The first function allows you to select a mode where the fixture slowly dims and turns off after no motion is detected by the sensor. You can select the duration with an adjustment screw. The second function (switch position) is just a motion sensor mode where the light turns off after a period of time. The third selection allows you to set the mode so that the light is triggered to turn on when it gets dark, but no motion sensor and the only way to turn off is to cut power with the (house) wall switch that controls the light. My old lights allowed me to control the motion sensor modes with the main power switch by turning the light on and off. So if I wanted the light to stay on without relying on the motion sensor function, I could do that by flipping the wall switch on and off a couple of times and it would change the mode. Now I need to un-screw the top (cover) of the light and manually change the position of the switch on the top of the light fixture. Unscrewing the top is easy and requires no tools, but I am 6.5 feet tall and I can do this without a ladder. Otherwise a decent fixture if you just want a motion sensor light or a light that comes on when it gets dark. One or the other. :-) Hope this helps!

Not much to say right now. I'm on the west coast, at the coast. So time will tell. They come on at the perfect time (at dusk). I only use dusk to dawn.The average primed cedar receptacles block is 7 1/2×7 1/2, the base of the light is 6 1/4 ish.. so centered, it hangs low. Get the larger blocks..Other than that, should last a long time.

I needed to replace an old , outdated motion detection lamp. This was easy to install and so pretty. I was able to adjust the brightness, can easily get my hand in to change bulbs when needed and great value!

These outdoor lamps are stunning and have survived 2 Canadian winters so far. Both look the same as the day I installed them. One is directly in the elements and the other is under porch, neither have showed any age. I waited to write a review to let any one interested to know - these are excellent well made fixtures that are up to the challenge of Canadian weather.

Wow! A motion detector light with the detector facing upward toward the sky! What a concept! Unless you mount it at about 4 - 5 feet high, it will not detect motion. I am astounded at the limitations of this product design. I wanted it to light my walkway, and was hoping to have a light that is more pleasing aesthetically than a flood light. And these are aesthetically pleasing. But, they won't work at the 7 foot height they were installed at. So I had to have my electrician uninstall it, so I could reeturn it, and now they have to come back to install the replacements I end up choosing. This cost me extra $$$!! I am steaming!!!1) They should point the motion detector downward or make it adjustable to face downward; 2) Otherwise they should clearly state that it only works at short heights.

We ordered 4 of these lights. One did not work, but the other three worked well. We contacted the seller, and they quickly sent a replacement for the defective light. Am very happy with the lights and the great customer service. Would order from this supplier again.
