This is a really solid budget smartphone. Out of many options I've tried over the years, I am confident that this phone is a amazing value for 250 USD. It is unlocked, display is lovely and bright enough for most cases. The speed of the processor is fast enough for all general tasks and light to mid level games, and the camera is acceptable for the price. The phone may have its draw backs for some individuals, such as less software updates or some people have ran into hardware issues... I recommend just paying for the cheap protection plan so that you can get it replaced or fixed if needed. In my own experiences ( I have owned 3 of these devices in different generations before this one... I've never had any major issues and have never needed the protection plan.) Overall I understand it may not be the best phone on the market but in feel you will be hard pressed to find a phone of this quality and functionality for 200-300 USD. I also just wanted to add for clarity, the software on this phone is really solid. In my opinion, it feels like everything is placed where it should be. You can customize and change settings with little fear of messing anything up. It also has the best gestures of any android phone company I've seen so far, besides maybe pixel. However, pixels for me have never worked out. I had multiple pixels that barely even could hold a Internet connection and so I said enough is enough to them for the next 10-20 years.I would highly recommend trying this device if you want a nice budget smartphone. I would not recommend it for individuals that expect amazing camera quality or intense gaming.Final Recommendations: If you purchase this phone, set it up, then download the app on google play called CPU X, It has a section in the app that allows you to double check hardware and software functions. (It runs tests to make sure buttons all work, speakers work, microphones are all good, etc etc. ) This could help you find any issues before the 30 day return period is up. If you don't have any major issues by then I can imagine the phone would last a good while for you.Rating: 8/10Enjoy your phone. If you want higher quality ideas for a similar price, I recommend just picking up a Samsung galaxy A53, A54 because they are still within recent updates and can be found extremely cheap most online stores.

For a skeptic, this is a great budget friendly phone. The battery life is excellent. The screen is top notch. The stylus is a nice bonus I have grown to love. The only downside, the power and volume buttons feel cheap and like theymight break at any moment. No issues so far with them. The camera is OK. Compared to a Pixel or iPhone, this is not even close camera wise. BUT it will get the job done. Also, I highly recommend getting a case when you purchase this.

i like the crisp, clear display and the features as advertised. the scarlet color also looks good but i would really prefer if they have one in navy blue or cobalt blue.too bad it does not have a scheduled power on/off option. i had a moto g power once which if you set an alarm then switch the phone off, it switches back when the alarm hits. unfortunately, they removed that option too.

The performance of this phone beats out the Samsung A54 by a mile, not to mention double the storage, 2GB more RAM AND a headphone jack. I don't count the stylus as a real feature because it's basically just a standard inductive pen. But, having a phone these days with a headphone jack, SD card slot, good battery, great screen, and modern Android for under $300 on sale is amazing.Yes, it "only" gets one more major Android upgrade but that's NOT security updates. It'll get 3 years' worth of security updates which is plenty for the life of a $300 phone. My only real issues are:* Wireless desktop mode is really laggy. I really wish they did wired instead.* Android Auto is really laggy. Sometimes it drops the connection, sometimes it stalls out, sometimes it doesn't work at all.* WiFi calling is hit-miss. It says it's on but I was missing calls/texts and for me in my low/no coverage area this needs to be rock solid.* The camera is slow to take pictures. The CPU power is just not there. The pictures it takes are fine, and the action mode does help a lot, but quality takes a big dive as a result. Outside it's fine, but kids and indoors are really hard for this phone. What I love that isn't clear from the descriptions/reviews:* A secure folder feature for app/file separation with a different authentication than the phone itself* Very fast wired charging* The display is fantastic at this price point* Having a desktop mode at all is great* The optical fingerprint reader performs WAY better than the previous generation Pixel phones. It's worked perfectly for me.* The camera has a decent pro mode* The camera also has a very good macro mode because the wide angle lens has autofocus* The camera also has a very close minimum focus distance so you can get some VERY detailed close up shots of things.

This is my second one of these and I love everything about it, especially the large internal memory and the large SD card capacity.Battery life is good, the display is really good, the stylus is super convenient, the setting options are great, the camera is also really good, and the voice clarity is phenomenal. Setup was incredibly easy!!I will probably purchase another one when this one goes obsolete. Really glad I got it!

For the price this phone is hard to beat. It is fast enough for all the tasks i've thrown at it with it's midrange processor. The screen is nice and bright and very smooth. I don't notice the lower resolution screen compared to flagship models but this has never been a feature I was concerned about. The moto features on top of google's android 14 are great. I like the chop to turn the flashlight on and spin to open the camera app even with the phone is locked. The fingerprint reader is great and really quick. The camera is slow but it does have a 50mp shooter. it might be faster if I drop the resolution down a bit. I don't need 50mp phone images. My professional camera is 33mp and performs great. I don't know why my phone is even capable of shooting 50mp photos. It seems like a marketing gimmick. Great phone, great price. Hopefully the hardware holds up.
