You may have to replace the small ball that comes with it. Mine leaked pretty bad.

Ball valve leaks and the bottom of the tank is made in a way all the fuel won't drain out, I don't recommend this item

I can't speak to the quality as purchased for a friend. They are very happy, although I don't believe they have run gas though it yet.Purchased to run motorcycle testing prior to fitting tanks.Should work well and as long as parts are safe for gasoline all seems like it will be a great addition to their tools and save time as can check how it works prior to final assembly. This will save time, thus save money too

It leaked the first time that it was used where the seam is on the bottom of the container !!! The first time I used it l only filled it 1/3 up and after about 15 minutes I noticed gas dripping from the bottom and l double checked the hose clamp and it was tight and l wiped it down and got all the gas off the bottom and it came back in about 5 minutes and l cleaned it up again and watched it closely and l noticed it was leaking in the seam where it is made to join together!!! I wish they would give a contact number or some way of ordering replacement parts because by the time it was used the return date was already past and it looks like it just came out of the package and it is defective!!!

I have four “vintage” motorcycles from the 1970s (with carburetors) plus a couple of ATVs (also with carbs) and a mini bike. With this collection, an auxiliary fuel tank comes in very handy when working on carbs with the regular fuel tank off or when I just have to bypass the regular fuel tank for whatever reason. This tank seems to be made pretty well and the two-liter (2+ quart) capacity should be sufficient for any work you have to do. It has a nice big hook allowing it to be hung from a handlebar or a piece of shop equipment allowing gravity to do its job supplying fuel to the carb(s). Included is a ¼” ID hose that is about 38 inches long and four hose clamps – two spring types and two fuel injection style. The later make for a much more secure connection that the spring clamps. The kit also has a ¼” inline ball valve that appears to be made from brass. You will have to supply your own length of hose from the ball valve to the carburetor inlet. This is probably not a bad thing since you may need to adapt the ¼” fitting on the ball valve to whatever size your carb uses. For example, I used this on my mini bike which has a 3/16” inlet on the carb. The tank has a vent on the filler cap which can be closed when you do not need it. The design of the bottom of the tank is such that you would never be able to drain all of the fuel out of it via the hose fitting. The plus side of this is that any contaminants in the fuel would settle out and not get to your carb. The downside is that you will have to turn the tank upside down to drain the last little bit of residual fuel when you are done using it.I like this auxiliary tank and feel comfortable recommending it.

Came with everything needed to connect to my motorcycle, no leaks and does what it is suppose to. Would recommend this to anyone

This product was exactly what I needed; however, if you don't trim the excess plastic from the nipple before attaching the hose, it will leak.

I love my vintage carburetor motorcycles. The biggest pain I have is tuning and synching the carbs while keeping the tank on or stacked on top of a lot of milk crates or levering the tank out of the way just to accidentally bump it and smash my hand or dent the tank!!! This makes the job a breeze and allows you to just hang a tank with a built in petcock and lots of tube to feed the carbs! Quality was as expected not made of gold but it works perfectly, it hasn’t leaked everywhere when off or running, capacity is more than enough. If you’re rebuilding a bike and want to make you’re life easier and more efficient this is a great option significantly better than a bottle bleeder flipped and taped to the handle bars!
