Steel braided line worked great for my mini supermoto YZ85 for about 3 track days, then I started losing pressure and couldn’t bleed the front brakes anymore. Today I noticed brake fluid between the steel braided line and the clear housing. Looks like it’s not going to work after all.

This is one instance where I bought a cheaper one because the first one didn’t fit the cheaper one was available, and I found it, and it fit just fine on my 2012 KX450F. This is not a bad product, at all, for the price.

So I bought this braided line And I installed it correctly, but it began to leak from the line itself, not the connections, not the banjo connections, and it’s none of my equipment, but the leak came from the line itself, causing brake fluid to spray me in the face getting all over my skin and causing a rash and itchiness not to mention it got in my eyes, causing me to pull over and wash my face and my right side. I don’t know if I got the braided line that is defective or if there’s other stories like mine, but if the seller wants to get right with me, I will update this post

I used the brake line for my front brake on my Suzuki dr650. Worked fine for 4 months until the fitting began to leak at the crimp. Seems to be made of low quality and construction. For $10 you get what you paid for. This would be good for in a pinch but not for reliability or longevity.

I spent way too much time trying to get this brake line to work on my Harley Sportster. Not sure if it works for Harley’s, it definitely didn’t on mine. I’d recommend just buying an actual kit, this isn’t it.

Don’t really know what these brake hoses fit. The bango bolt on both my Harley softail and Honda shadow don’t even com close to fitting through the fittings on the brake line so it’s hard to say what they will fit. So might as well head on over to JP cycles and pay the 50 bucks
