I ordered this product because it was advertised as "Pure Nickel" battery strip. When I got them I noticed each roll of strip was labeled as "Pure Nickel" and had a small bag of dessicant inside. Why would it need dessicant if it was pure nickel? I decided to test both rolls of differing sizes I had received from the seller using the salt water bath method and I cut two samples from the end of each roll. I used a Dremel tool to grind off the surface on the ends of the samples to expose the inner core. I looked at them the next morning and HOLY COW! Rust everywhere and the water turned cloudy brown! The picture attached shows the strips tested and they CLEARLY show lots of rust. False advertising is not acceptable and they will be getting them back for a refund.

This can work but unless you're in absolute dire need to save space/weight when building your battery with 18650's for higher power drains
