Worked great for the first month or so and then we got a few days of heavy rain and when I went to drive it again it was backfiring like mad. Took cap off to find the points on the cap were completely corroded. Not sure if it was the material used in manufacturing or what but just something to look for

I installed this cap and rotor on a 5.7 vortec I had a cyl 3 misfire code after install I had a random multiple misfire checked all my wires everything was good replaced the rotor with a standard brand rotor and the misfire was gone mabey it was just a random defect
