All pieces but the valve worked great. Valve may "break in" over time and be easier but for now it's a 2 handed job, one to hold the body and one to turn the knob/switch.

replaced the hose and filter on my 38 year old riding lawnmowerthe mower did not come with a filter so i would occasionally clean the carburetordon’t have to anymore. just change the filter now!i recommend this product
