These seals measure 11 mm tall. The 1999-2007 vmax needs a 9.5 or 10 mm seal height. The snap ring would not go into the retaining groove because the seal was covering most of it when fully seated.I held them up to the old seals and it's clear they are too tall.Returning. It's a hassle to reorder from another vendor when the description says they are for my bike.

I bought one set, lost it, ordered another set, started my fork rebuild, found the first set and then in the course of the rebuild found that I needed the seals from one set and dust covers from the other in order to get the proper fit.I would give five stars if I hadn't ended up needing both sets.

This item showed up as "compatible" for my 2007 Kawasaki Ninja ZX14... I rebuilt the forks and filled them with new for oil and they oil immediately began pouring out of the seals... I lost $35 worth of fork seal oil. I then had to order different seals (I went with OEM through RevZilla) and another $35 bottle of oil.

I have a YZF R6S. The seals sat a bit tall and the dust covers do not stay on. They should really specify year model. The seals themselves haven’t leaked or popped out yet but I can’t keep the dust sealed installed. It’s like the we’re just slightly under cut while the seals we’re about a mill too tall.

Did not fit 06 V-Max. Fork seal is .03 inches thicker than oem. This prevents the retaining clip from being installed which allows the new seal to fail which allows the rider to fall to the ground and sustain injuries.

The wipers didnt fit (too loose) but the seals are great. Been in an r6 for about 3 solid weeks now and I ride ALOT of wheelies.
