It holds it shape on flat slightly curved surfaces luke Corvair/ Camero bodies. Will slightly attack highspots harder BUT, sand other areas at same time. Durablock much denser material, hits high spots and misses even the slightest low spots that wod not normally be visable anyway. Hteat length I have a softer 6 " sander works great to but is to short on larger areas. This is the longest you want a softer sander pad hard to put even pressure on anything longer

Simple but the cushion and ability to bend makes this a must have for the tool box.Just the right amount of give to block out you project. Glad I bought one.

Very flexible and works well on curved body parts but some of the block comes off with the sandpaper each time I replace it.
