It fit fine, had to relieve the AC system to get clearance to change the heater core. It looked like a slightly different AC line design would allow you to wiggle and pull enough to get it out, but that's a Ford problem, nothing to do with this part.There was some foam tape in the box. It didn't occur to me where to use it until after everything was back together. If I had the dash off again, I'd install some tape over the top of the heater core to help seal it to the box. The factory didn't have anything, but that might be the cause of a slight whistle sound after installation?
