I YouTube what the problem could be then I ordered the product off of Amazon. Came on time and was the perfect fit for my F150 2016 Ford. It took 15 minutes to install and solved the malfunction of the wipers. I just wish I would’ve ordered the additional tool to fix it because I had to go to Lowe’s and buythe part. So just a suggestion order the tool with it. My wipers are turning off like they’re supposed to.

Unfortunately bought one of the aftermarket combo switches from another seller on Amazon. Installed it, and ir wouldn't cancel after a lefthand turn, was stiff in function and clicky/noisy during operation. Had it replaced from the seller, and experienced the same thing. Spent a few dollars more on this OEM switch, and it operates flawlessly. When the original one went bad, it exhibited an intermittent wiper every 20 seconds, and caused the headlights to come on while on "auto" setting. Highly recommend this item.

Previously ordered a $20 cheaper replacement part that would not shut off the blinkers when the steering wheel was returned to neutral. The OEM Motorcraft part works perfectly fine.

This was a good replacement, easy to install and works great. I have had it installed for 2 year and still works great.

Part seems to be of good quality and matched my current part exactly. Went in rather easily, worked immediately fixing my problem and after several weeks is functioning well. Very pleased.

Once again information I found online has saved me a bucket of money! My wipers were sweeping the windshield approximately once every 25 seconds and nothing would turn them off. I found information on a Ford truck site with a link to this part at a Ford dealer. They wanted too much for it so I looked on Amazon and found it for much less than half that. The install took less than 10 minutes and fixed the problem. All you need is a 7/32 socket and a #2 torx screwdriver. It's worth it to buy them if you don't already have the proper tools. There are several you tube videos on how to do the job.

My husband was going to get a dealership quote to replace this thing. I watched a few YouTube videos and everyone said it was easy. I read the reviews on this item, everyone here also said it was easy. He was doubtful, but we ordered it anyway. It ended up taking him 10 minutes to install. He said it was the easiest car part he's ever replaced.

This is an OEM part manufactured in Mexico. I was concerned because someone posted in reviews it was a cheap Chinese made product! It is OEM 100%. It solved my issue and was a very simple install that took 20 min taking my time.

I tried to aftermarket switches from a local automotive store. The switch replacement corrected one problem and created another. Tried replacing this switch twice. What a pain. For the same money, I got OEM (original equipment manufacturer). The switch works perfect. Thank you Amazon!

This was an exact ford replacement. 2016 f150 without auto rain censor. Arrived on time specified at checkout. Fixed wiper issue. Only 2 tools needed for my truck were 7mm socket and a T10 torx bit. Pull down from the top of kicker panel, remove 3 X 7mm bolts under the steering column, separate column shroud then remove the 2 torx screws holding in the multi function switch. Slides right out.

I have a 2016 Ford F-150 XLT 4x4 Crew Cab with a lot of extras packed into the truck (sunroof, SYNC 3 touchscreen, heated seats, etc.). One thing I don't have is the automatic rain sensor so I was trying to be careful about replacing my multiswitch control because my windshield wipers suddenly started operating at the lowest interval time on their own and it was so annoying, especially when it wasn't raining most of the time so I was just wearing down my blades for a week. I purchased this tool because I saw several folks confirm it fits the make, model, year, trim of my truck. I installed it and it works without any problem. I believe this is the exact part that Ford puts in the vehicle to begin with and considering folks wanted $30 more for a different manufacturer's part this was a no-brainer purchase. It was the easiest install I've ever done on my truck (though I've only done a couple so far). Here's what you need to be able to do this entire equipment swap without having to go to the store for additional parts. You need a 5.5mm hex/universal bit to get the 3 screws out from underneath the steering column (easy to spot by just looking beneath the steering wheel). You need a T10 Torx Screwdriver or Bit to take off the 2 screws holding the switch assembly in place. You'll want a smaller-profile flathead srewdriver to pop the two little plastic clamp locks that are on the left side and right side of the steering wheel (they're recessed just a little bit behind the little crevice between the actual wheel and the column itself - you'll know what I'm talking about when you go to pop the cover off). The assembly unit itself slides right off, so once you get those two star-bit screws out, an easy pull will slide it right out of the steering column and you replace it with your new one. Be gentle because the circuit board is partially exposed and you want to make sure nothing gets clipped sliding in. To recap, you take 3 5.5mm hex screws out of the column underneath, pop the steering column with a flathead screwdriver, take the two screws out that mount the multiswitch assembly onto the steering column, and then put your screws back in, snap the cover back into place, and put your 5.5mm screws back in (make sure they're fairly snug or your cover will rattle). This took me about 6 minutes to do and that includes me looking for the 1/4" impact adapter and the 5.5mm bit in my toolbox and then starting this process. I don't think it could be any easier unless there were just finger-accessible release buttons on all of this. If you don't have the right tools to start you'll be hosed - the 5.5 mm hex bit is pretty essential for a few different augmentations and I bought it when I swapped out halogen bulbs for LEDs and you need the 5.5mm to remove the wheel panel too, so clearly Ford relies on this particular size of hex screws/bolts for assembling smaller aspects of their trucks. I tested the part for 1 minute. No interval wiping and when I engaged the wipers they worked just fine. Don't spend $80-$100 at the dealer for this job, do it yourself!
