The hardest part was getting the old one off. If your battery is being drained chances are your old one is causing it from not being able to go into the parked position. This one is a exact fit and works like new

The picture shows a nut with motor. The nut on the old motor is as rusted as can be - with no threads left on it. So I finally get this wiper arm off my car (it broke) and get the nut of the Motor, and I open the box for the new motor and....... VOILA!!!!!!! NO NUT FOR THE MOTOR!!!!!!!!Do not buy this motor. Do not pay for something that arrives unusable. We are just supporting the continuation of this dishonest behavior.

The motor installs fairly easily but the large nut that goes on the from the outside is not included. The original nut damages the threads. So I'm assuming I need to get a new nut from Ford, as it's necessary. What a pain.

Tried 3 other rear motors and each one came the next day but they all would run the washer on second speed. The Motorcraft motor would take 3 to 4 weeks for delivery. That is why I didn’t order this at first. The Motorcraft motor worked perfectly. In fact the part numbers on the motor were exactly the same as my original one. Did have to buy a nut from Ford for $16. Still a good buy.

The aluminum casting on the motor looked older than the one I removed from my 2011 SUV. Obviously remanufactured and not new as advertised. One plastic cover was broken but I was able to replace it with the one from my old motor. It should include a new nut since the old one was completely corroded due to road salt. Otherwise it is installed and working OK.
