This is the first bad review I've ever left on Amazon. I bought and installed this last October. Has less than 200 miles on it from the occasional weekend camping trips, and it is already failing. Outside of Amazon's return window. I've been an avid RV'er all of my life, and will never buy another motorhome with an F53 chassis. Any quick google search will reveal the known issues with these fuel pumps failing in short order.

This went in an 80 gallon fuel tank for an RV motorhome....the chassis was the Ford F53 and was difficult to find.(the fuel pump, that is)..even large ford truck dealers were not much of help....I found this by researching some blogs...the motor was the BBF 460.....1993 model.....they also included the rubber seal and the fit was perfect....the only problem, so to speak was that it was about 1/2 inch too long...but I squished it down and so far so good.....if you are doing this be sure to check out the fuel tank when you have it off/down....mine was really bad....rusty and the gas had actually gone back to a sludge oil substance.....I put a gallon of kerosene in the tank and the tank in the back of my pickup, and drove around some, and applying the brakes to get the kerosene sloshing around with some force to clean the tank.....again, so far so good, it came out much, much cleaner. This was the best price also, after spending many hours searching for this particular fuel pump.

This cured all my fuel pump problems in a 1990 Rexhall Airex (Ford chassis) motorhome. However, the fuel level sender gives unreliable fuel level indications to my dashboard (still). It's probably an issue with my wiring.
