OEM or OEM spec.This fits the 1999 Honda Shadow VT750 ACE absolutely perfectly.The price difference is worth it. The cable is thicker and MUCH more reliable than any that fit this bike for 10 or 20 bucks.I went "just to get by" cheap the first time and regretted it INSTANTLY. (After getting cable in slot and releasing it so it was under tension; The cheap cable snapped almost right away)The one you are purchasing here is 3or 4 times as thick as the cheap priced ones and highly recommended because it REALLY the correct size.I HAD READ that the vlx 600 clutch cable was the same length and people make it sound like an easy fit. Heads up about the VLX 600 CABLE. It will/can work in an emergency if properly installed but, was fully stretched out and instantly started showing signs of stress. (If you have the cable already, for this specific make and model you may be able to use it as a necessary back up.)

This is a perfect fit for my 2009 Honda Shadow Aero VT750. It was very easy to install (under 15 minutes). Seems to be good quality. Much cheaper than OEM. Would buy again but hopefully I don't need one for a long time
