I'm extremely happy with the carbon fiber heat shield. It appears to be well-made and does not look cheap! I originally got it to prevent my shoes from touching the pipe and leaving marks. Easy to install

My nice black muffler needs a small heat shield. Shield on this one is thin and clamps have very sharp edges. Not scratching my pipes with a cheap shield, so I returned it. Ordered a Harddrive 14-0581, we will see if quality improves.

The carbon fiber part works as intended, But somebody forgot about the screws! They still get piping hot. Be warned.

The carbon fiber plate is stiff, and seems to be very strong. You can use a 7mm to tighten the clamps. It is easy to replace the hose clamps to another size if needed, a variety of clamps will slip right through the shield hangers. I attached it to a 3rd party exhaust pipe for an XR200. If the shield doesn't lay flush against the hangers rather than twisting or bending try mounting the carbon fiber on rubber washers. Nice product with a cool look.

This heat shield works good. You could still, potentially, burn yourself but it wont be near as bad. It is easy to put on (as long as your bike isn't hot). It's not too big but, if you're like me, you know where it's most likely to burn you. It's a good value and I'd recommend.

This carbon fiber heat shield is very sturdy and definitely helps protect from and block the heat. It looks really nice on a black motorcycle and is easy to install onto piping. My main complaint is that it's only about 6" x 2". This was more than enough for my need and covered the section I needed to cover almost perfectly minus having to tuck just a bit of it behind my fairings as you can see in the picture. Still $30 seems a bit much for this size of carbon fiber but perhaps is a good deal since it does come with mounting brackets. Regardless of my opinion on the price it does do what it's supposed to do and looks beautiful. I can definitely recommend this product.

The lil shield exceeded my expectations. I was worried the carbon would look to fake. But it finished up this exhaust project I had very clean. I can’t complain thank you
