There are many versions of these on Amazon, and they all seem somewhat the same. These were less expensive than most and still as strong and functional as the other offerings. They are surprisingly heavy, and although I've only used the lock a few times, I think it would be an excellent deterrent. I'm pleased I invested in this purchase.

Seems solid. Needs directions. Thought it was defective. IT WASNT.. helmet lock fits only in one direction. Once locked must pull brake handle to release.

Wasn’t easy to use. After getting device installed on throttle and brake with helmet secured. The lock pin is to hard to align.

Sturdy material! I had to file and grind down the cable insert portion of this to work. The cable would not go into the holder. Took me multiple times of filining and guiding to get the cable to fit and even then it doesn't secure properly. Would not recommend for someone not willing to go thru the extra work.

A very simple concept, lock the brakes and your MC or ATV is not going anywhere easily. This lockIs solidly constructed and will resist all but the most aggressive cutting tools. The push down vending machine lock also adds another layer of target hardening. The option to secure your helmet as well with the included cable is an appreciated bonus.I tried this on both my Goldwing and Polaris 570 and it fit both machines with no issue.The lock includes two sizes of rubber inserts for thicker or thinner handgrip sizes as well as 3 keys.Can it be defeated? - probably with the right tools and of course TIME, these devices are made to protect from and make it much harder for the average thief who wants to make a quick getaway with your ride.You can mount the lock with the keyhole facing up or down, I’d suggest down to keep any moisture out and further discourage any attempts at tampering (depending on the environment you’re parked in).
