I have just received my lock and I am actually surprised to say that it is a pretty good lock and design the only issue I have with it is the spot where the cable wraps around my helmet runs on a delicate spot ont the visor weather seal . My answer to that , is to find some type of cloth and sew my own cable cover . Simple fix for me . I’m happy with my purchase . And will be recommending it to all my buddies . MAKE MORE COLORS !!!! Thank you .

The build is solid of course for being metal so no worries there. It locked onto the handlebar and brake lever really good and the chain/rope looks like it's twisted steel wires so it's not too easy to cut off. It definitely leaves enough slack or rather more than enough slack to secure your helmet to your bike. I like that it comes with a carry pouch so you can stoy it away. Definitely a nice little added security for your bike.

It's a super easy way to lock my motorcycle. Unlike a disc lock or locking your bike to a pole (which often isn't nearby) this is a better way. It is better than a disk lock because you can't possibly forget it is there. I was worried I would forget that I used the disk lock and I'd try to roll my bike and stumble. This is much smaller, much easier, and I can unlock it and throw it right in my tank bag.

The device itself is solid and the cable for the helmet is extremely strong. But that's about where the good news ends. I don't have the same problem locking it that some people have, but I definitely understand what they're saying. It does need to be aligned almost perfectly in order to lock, but I've maneuvered around the problem by just wiggling the push down mechanism.The biggest issue for me is UNLOCKING the darn thing. It's a colossal pain. It sticks on a regular basis and there have been numerous times I'm standing over my bike jiggling the key and pulling up on it after it's turned to the unlock position because the lock stays depressed. I end up turning the lock and holding it in place hard to get some leverage, then pull up a bit forcefully. I fear one day I won't be able to get it open so I'll be looking for something else quickly.It's only been two months and the thing is practically useless already. I'd save my money and go with a better quality product. The best thing about this item is the cable for the helmet, lol.

Took me a minute to figure out the wire can only go one one way to fit in the grooves to secure the helmet. Works perfectly to secure the brake and your helmet while you are away from your bike. No worries!

I put on aftermarket Avon memory foam grips so I had to get another lock, (I like these locks). Could not find one to fit over 1.50 diameter until I looked at the pics of this one. I don't know why it says less than 1.50 when the diagram shows 1.57. Anyway, this does work on Avon memory foam grips on Indian Scout, just barely but it works.These are not easy to close, very frustrating really, there only seems to be one spot on the brake lever where it will work. So I marked the spot.

This thing is absolutely impossible to lock by yourself. It took about ten minutes to finally lock it, ans I didn't even have the helmet strap on it yet! I never did get it locked with a helmet hanging from the strap. The locking pin has to be aligned ABSOLUTELY perfectly in order to press the locking button. Why can't the manufacturer bevel the hole where the locking pin slides in?This thing is ridiculous. DO NOT BUY IT. If I could have given zero stars, I would have.

Lock works great and is very useful. Holds the helmet well and doesn't take long to lock up bike. Just make sure you have a spot on your bike to put the pouch that stores the lock. Using the lock scratches the back of the brake lever which isn't a huge deal but should be considered.
