If you don't have a center stand, this is the next best thing. Far less bulky and costly than a bike lift, too! Now, the ad talks about it with terms like "put into a backpack and carry it anywhere" but that is pretty ridiculous, this is a garage tool, not a roadside emergency tool.This lift is super-sturdy, and built to handle pretty heavy bikes. Certainly bikes heavier than my old KLR 650. It's also tall enough to deal with a tall bike like that KLR. Easily gets that rear wheel off the ground for chain maintenance or getting that wheel off. It's solid enough that you don't feel like you're putting your bike at risk when you're fiddling with that wheel.
