Haven’t worn them yet, I tried them on . I ordered a size larger than I normally wear, should have ordered them 2 sizes larger.Deliver was terrible! Amazon said it was too large to fit in the Amazon locker, they would have, so I had it delivered to my apartment, my neighbor is sketchy as hell. Didn’t get a delivery notification. Went to check my mailbox only to find the package thrown on the floor in the lobby of my apartment building. Extremely poor service by delivery people.

If you're reading this, then you understand the challenges finding protective gear that won't roast you in hot weather.But with thinner materials come with some compromises when in terms of durability. Now take into consideration costs as well. I'm sure motorcycle gear with armor can be developed that is both durable and weather functional but at what price? Since we are talking about these pants, chances are there won't be the silver bullet at this price.My experience - about 75k miles of riding but mostly in Northern California, so little wet stuff. I do own two other riding jeans, one from a well known brand and one not so much. All have some pros/cons.First, this pants is the only one I've seen that features a full mesh crotch area and down the outer side of the pant legs for air flow and heat management. This is a huge win and Pro IMO. The fit was spot on, so make sure to consult the size chart in the description. The denim is a medium weight. Compared to my name brand one, it's a lot more comfortable and light weight. So how is this a Pro? My name brand one which costs more than twice, has a few zippered vents but this pair flows and manages heat so much better. The knee pads sit in a knee sleeve that has a piece of Velcro to adjust the bottom of sleeve, positioning the relative height of the Level 2 knee pads, this was anice feature. Quality YKK zippers on both the side of the knees and fly with a button waist.Now to address some of the Cons. The aforementioned denim fabric, I don't think this one would fair well in a high speed slide. So gotta know you are going in with SOME protection, just not optimal protection. The hems are double stitched but not double folded and double stitched. There is no kevlar inner layer for added slide protection. The stretch fabric is very nice and comfortable. However, if you have big muscular legs, these are skinny jeans and you may have a tough time with these pants. The knee pads are not pre-bent and kind of buckles when your leg is bent.In conclusion, for my commute and short rides, these pants are a welcomed addition to my riding jeans selection. But your mileage will vary.
