Been on my bike a few months now so the honeymoon phase is over. The instructions (if you wanna call them that) suuuuck hard. Definitely look up your wiring diagrams and tap into the right connections. I'm an automotive tech so I did add a few things to this system like a fuse inline for the system incase anything well wary. (Make sure fuse for system is higher than your ignition fuse). Anyways, they system provides plenty of lead to wire up the systems I out mine under my seat onto the ecu the horn is obnoxious loud so that's awesome the system reacts perfect to lift up and movements (sometimes hard winds chirps it) I out a switch online hidden on my bike to shut off the chirp because it will make a loud alarm every time you lock or unlock. It was fairly easy to install and has been perfect the last few months on my bike. The features are great as well and work well (ignition fuse thing coming) one thing I love is even if a theif got onto the bike ripped off the horn and broke my steering lock if the alarm is active once the bike goes to start it will pop the ignition fuse so they are not getting away with your bike. If the bike is running and the alarms not on you can blow the fuse by hitting the lock or unlock on the key fobs they provide. (Here comes the bad) if riding and you hit that button though... It's gunna blow your ignition fuse. I planned ahead and put a few tools to get to the fuses on my bike as well as a few extra fuses as well for safe keeping incase I do smack it (learned it the hard way)Overall for $20 I don't know how you can protect your bike more it's perfect. Loud and clear it will help keep people off and away for sure.

I purchased this alarm for mine and my friend's Harley 2016 Sportster Models. There are may suggestions available for the security system depending on your budget. It starts from the $800+ for a FIN system and extends to $20. After reviewing multiple comments, concerns and reviews I was finally convinced that this is the best system that fulfills my needs and is wayyy cheaper than other systems. What to expect: The most important question that anyone could ask is "What can we expect from this system"So let me explain this : The system promises many options with the alarm. You can connect your turn lights, brake lights and Ignition to this system. How?? there are no instructions. So if you are not too comfortable in handling you bike electrical circuits (like me), I would suggest use the basic logical connections.Connect the brain (main unit) to power and to mouthpiece (buzzer)..bamm you are all set. The main unit detects any shock and sounds the buzzer. Pretty basic right?? but thats what you get for $20 bucks. There is no email, sms, real time notification or any crazy stuff. Simply buzzer sounds if some one messes with your bike. The sensitivity is pretty good which I tasted making by all possible movements to steal the bike. None of the attempts were a success without sounding an alarm. The buzzer is loud enough to scare the sh*t out of the person.I tasted first system before installing and assumed the second one would work too. To my surprise the second one was a faulty piece. All my efforts of cutting, stripping and fixing were in vain as I realized the piece was faulty. So Advice .... Check the system before starting the installation. I have sent mine for replacement but still lost too much time and now my buddy has an alarm where as mine still don't have any.Installation is extremely simple and the product can be used off the shelf without any tweaks. I would recommend this to any one looking for a basic security system that works.Harley owners: There is not much space available under the seat for installation. I would suggest you try to gauge the arrangement even before you open the battery connections. I learn it hardway which made the installation pretty frustrating and time consuming apart from the fact that one unit was faulty.AMAZON did a great job in the delivery as usual...Customer care was helpful enough to understand my problem and allow me to send the system back.

I put this on my motorcycle. At first the vibration sensor didnt work very well so I moved it to underneath the tank attached to the bottom of it, and now the slightest tap sets it off. Its 125 decibels loud, and the first time it went off while I was installing It I just about jumped out of my skin it was so loud. This will definitely scare the heck out of anybody who tries to mess with it, as well as get the whole neighborhood's attention. That sounds off putting, but thats what you need in an alarm. It will make everybody nearby look at the robber, which will spook them and run off (if the alarm didnt already spook em). At the first disturbance it goes off for 3 minutes and then stops. That way if it was just a squirrel or something, your alarm wont be going off in the parking lot at work for all hours. If it's touched again, the alarm will go off endlessly until you turn it off with your remote. I like this because sometimes kids (or rude, entitled adults) think it's okay to sit on someone's parked motorcycle, or play with the throttle, shifter, brakes etc. Not only is this rude and annoying (you wouldn't do it to a car, why is it okay to do it to a bike?) but it is dangerous because the bike could tip over and get damaged or possibly fall on a child or person and seriously injured them. So now if a little creeten or cheese-eating teenager so much as lays a finger on my girl, they will probably pee their pants when the alarm starts blaring at 125 db and get the heck away from my bike. It has a spot to attach a back-up D battery so that it'll go off even if your battery is weak. It comes with two nice remotes. One black remote with lock unlock and automatic start that has a blank flip out key that you can have cut, the other is a cool little red and yellow one with lock unlock and engine start and has clear buttons that light up when you press them. The remotes have very good range, can use them from inside house if I forgot and it does a loud beep to tell you it's armed. I only use the alarm function, which was very easy to install, you just have to find a good place to stick the speaker and sensor, make sure the sensor is stuck to the metal/paint so that the vibrations will be easy to pick up. I put the speaker underneath my seat and it didnt affect the volume noticeably. You only use the black and red wires and connect them to the battery posts. I personally don't want to mess with the tail light flash or engine start functions, mostly because I don't think they're useful but also because I don't want to mess with the wires that start the engine and signal and headlights. If those were to fail it would be dangerous, so I dont recommend you use them unless you're very familiar with circuitry. Overall very happy with purchase.
