Rack was very nice and well built.The problem I had was it was heavy and I was afraid of breaking my trunk lid off.

Looks good. Installation was easy as I took my time. I put painters tape on my paint to prevent it from cracking. My tour pack had indentations that lined up with the rack. I drilled 1/16 pilot holes and then 1/4 inch. I drilled holes in the rubber feet to use them but they didn't work well, so I just used rubber washers.The rubber feet would be great if they were pre-drilled.Update 3/18/25Was washing and detailing today and noticed rust spots on the rack. Installed about 6 months ago.

I bought this carrier through Amazon, do I have to say that it was far cheaper than buying it from Harley-Davidson? The material and the quality was above average and they screws holding it down were a nice fit and solid, and as I expressed it's holding Precious Cargo. I would recommend the seller to sell a template but it was still pretty simple to install, forgot to mention it does come with rubber bushings for water protection, solid fit up definitely recommend buying it.

I would say this is just as good as HD. Also,if you have an Advanblack tour pack the indents inside the lid match perfectly with the rack. No marking of holes. Very happy!

Pretty good rack. Good chrome and nice welds. This thing is very heavy though, be careful with your lid. I think I'll upgrade my tether to one with a steel cable because the added weight is definitely a concern. Install is easy, but the plastic feet it came with are absolutely worthless. They don't fit inside the legs and the legs don't fit inside them... maybe mine included the wrong hardware kit? I just ended up using heavy duty rubber washers instead.
