Had internet issues and wanted to make sure my Motorola MG7550 wasn't an issue. Customer service went way beyond to answer my questions, checked my modem/router to make sure it wasn't the problem. Might add they went deed into the guts of it too. My modem/router is 3 years old, beyond the warranty, but still they were there to make sure my modem/router was working properly. Will continue to buy Motorola products!!

I’ve had my Modem for like several months now. It was working pretty consistent, until it wasn't. I've had several issues like having to connect and reconnect the modem and wait 20-30 seconds and then connect it back up. It works for about 30-45 minutes before I have to do those steps all over again.I've had my cable company come out 3 times to check to see if it was them, it's not. Then I rebooted my Firestick and that didn't do anything. Then I went through the steps of checking all the cords and internet connections. I even took out the power cord from the wall and restarted it again. All of these things have been temporary fixes. I use the internet for everything from my Cellular, TV's, and computer. It's just so frustrating when I can't even watch a movie without having to reset the modem/router.I've called several times. The message either says something like there's no one who can answer the phone or something like that, or our systems are down at this time. I can't get any help.Now I've gone this route hoping to get some type of resolution. Also the reason why I went with Motorola in the first place was because they had the modem/router combination. I wanted my own modem instead of using the cable company's because they charge you too much for the modem and the service that comes with it.Since I’ve written this I have had NO RESPONSE AND NO HELP FROM MOTOROLA AND HAD TO GO WITH THE CABLE COMPANY’S SERVICE AND MODEM!! 😡This was my experience with this modem. THE MODEM WAS YHE PROBLEM!!!!

I did not buy the modem from Amazon. The installation process went smoothly. I called Spectrum (my cable internet provider) to give them CM MAC number. If you do not provide that number to your cable company the modem will not work After the CM MAC has been registered the modem should function as normal providing set up process was done correctly. The picture provided by another reviewer is for setting up the WIFI that is built in to the modem and you two choices 5GH or non 5G. The picture has nothing to do with configuring and setting the modem with your cable internet provider.

The product was used and sold at a high price. The seal was broken, which indicated that the item had been used.
