These bikes are cheap, Chinese made pieces of crap. I bought two of them—one for my nine year-old and another for my 11-year-old last Christmas. The nine year-old’s bike stopped working after three hours because the wiring was not installed correctly. Before the 11 year olds stopped working, three months later, the muffler fell off while he was driving. Now, his is back in the shop. They’ve each been into the repair shop twice now. At this point, I have spent more money on repairs than I spent on these bikes. Don’t waste your time unless you have the mechanical know-how and the means to repair motorcycles.Buy a real motorcycle from Honda or Kawasaki.

Great starter bike seems to be built with quality parts. Easy to assemble the dirt bike, the bike has plenty of power, good acceleration and a decent top speed.

Asked for refund or exchange company and Amazon refused this bike was broke since I recieved it have had a mechanic fix it 5x and breaks like 1hr after riding it. It’s a piece of junk and customer service sucks both in the Amazon’s side and the company itself

These bikes are great little bikes. Fully automatic with electric start, great first dirt bike!I have grew up around Moto cross bikes most my life and have been around these China bikes for years. With that being said if you have zero mechanical skills I would buy a Honda. These bikes will require some “tuning”I basically disassembled before assembly- used grease and loctite on everything. The starter chain was bone dry and needs lubed.Spokes need adjustment after first few rides.Carb needs adjustment after few rides. You need to change oil before you start it!! The oil that’s in it is for shipping only! With all that being said this bike is solid and my son has beat the hell out of it in the last two weeks. After about 5-6 tanks of gas I changed oil again and adjusted the valves. The bikes doing great. Some review said the carburetor isn’t adjustable, that’s not true. The adjustments are hidden behind the choke knob. I have adjusted it several times now and think I got it just right.Overall I would rate 4/5 star ⭐️The bike has a ton of torque, with low top speed. My son has mastered the basics on riding it and now is full throttle most of the time so I’m re gearing the bike for more speed.

I ordered this for my 10 yo daughter for Christmas. Assembly was easy, and it started up and ran with little effort. The battery was dead, but after a charge, and a little starting fluid, it ran like a champ. So excited to see her ride Christmas day.

Day one with the bike:. It starts, but only runs with the choke on. Choke off after warm up, bike dies. Off throttle with choke off, bike dies. Thankfully, I have another carb from a discontinued project. Will update if that solves the issue. I think the 22mm carb is too big, so going to a 19. The original carb has all the settings blocked off (A/F and idle) and is riveted together. Not worth modifying.EDIT: The indicator for choke on and choke off is backwards. I had the choke on when I thought I had it off. So, the bike is running fine. Found that out after I took the intake filter off when I was about to swap the carb. My kiddo and I went for a ride, and he loves it. It accelerates HARD. So, make sure your kid has some experience riding before you bump them up to this bike. I followed him on my Apollo Z20 max, and it took me up to 3rd gear to start catching up to him. Also, GPS to speed was 33.78 mph.Second Edit: Well, something is up with the bike. Starter would lock up from time to time, due to the decompression valve not decompressing. The bike refuses to idle, and doesn't like to stay running off throttle. Now, I have no power to the starter. It's two weeks old. I'm going to work on it. It's a great bike when it's running. But these are too many problems so early on.Edit: 12-26-21After more trouble shooting, I'm thinking either the rectifier or stator is bad. The bike constantly kills the battery, so it's one of the two. Either the rectifier isn't charging the battery, or the stator isn't doing anything, and the bike runs purely off battery power. The QC for these is pretty bad. I suggest anyone considering these find one at a lower price or look somewhere else. I shouldn't have to be tearing apart a month old bike that worked for approximately 3 hours total

Great buy and no mechanical problems at 7000 feet el. Nothing but Problems with the Tao Tao bike. Not happy with the X pro bike either. Both bikes started burning oil. MotoTec bike runs awesome!!
