Just add batteries and feed, then find the perfect place for it to hang. A tapered hopper with a collapsible design saves on shipping costs and shelf space, while a built-in funnel keeps feed from collecting on the bottom and sides of the bucket. This feeder requires just 4 AA batteries (sold separately), making it a great option for backyard feeding. Feed should be around .25 inches in diameter or smaller on its longest side. Whole, clean kernel corn is recommended. Corn mixed well with soybeans or protein pellets can be effective; however, mixing could cause clogging depending on the ratio of corn to the additive or type/brand of the additive.

All appeared great. Worked for one night than digital timer went on fritz and never worked again. Think something to do with moisture, but its an outside device? Tried to call for service, no good way to do. Long digital chain & waited forever with no answer. Seen a couple other very similar complaints so believe they are real. I dont write these things. Thought at minimum they could send replacement digital device since they do sell - again no reliable service. Hard for me to deal with companies without good customer service - shows they really dont care. If someone contacts me and remedies, I will adjust review

I bought this for my ground feeding birds, when I'm away.The easiest programable timer/feeder I've ever encountered.Hung about 1m from the ground. Easy to fill/refill - the markings on the lid mean no faffing around when removing/replacing.I can't find any negatives!

I’m really happy with this feeder. I bought a second one a day later. Super easy to set up, built well, looks good, easy for one person to handle and a good price too. It holds 5 gallons of corn and the lid goes on tight. The timer has four settings. To start off, I’m only using two feeder settings for two seconds at a time. You have the option of up to six seconds. I wasn’t sure how much I would like the feeder but once it was set up, I’m really glad I bought it. It only takes four AA batteries. I feel like this feeder was a very good value for the money and will last a long time. Highly recommend

Really good little feeder and holds a good bit of corn. Set at 10 seconds dispense time once a day corn lasts well over a week when filled to the top. Not the most intuitive to program or change settings on when hanging. Controls are under the spinner and pivot downwards to access. Can be difficult to see if feeder is not mounted high enough to avoid bending to see clearly. Same alkaline batteries for several months and still going strong.

I've had it up for about a week, so far. It feeds when I programmed it to. Nothing has chewed through the top, yet. Even though I did have 7 squirrels in one picture, the other day. It seems to be well built like all Moultrie products and I think I'll get another for my other property.

Overall I’m happy with it. Some said the timer was not always working, mine has been working fine, weather its seed or heavy corn it throws it easily.I’d recommend as long as you plan to treat it gently.

I have feral barn cats and finally found this affordable feeder with timer to feed the cats! It works great and now the raccoons aren’t eating 20 pounds of cat food a day! I have it set to feed at 7 am and 3 pm at 4 seconds! It puts out plenty and yes still cat food left for the raccoons ! Love this product!

Der beste Kirrautomat den ich je hatte!!! Einfach zu bedienen und funktioniert absolut zuverlässig! Ist dabei auch wesentlich besser und preiswerter als andere vermeintlich hochwertigere Produkte!!! Kirrgut wird auch nicht feucht und / oder verklebt, einfach super das Ding!!!
