These aluminum pieces will do very well for my needs. BUT, if I was planning some precise machining of these I would want to know that they average about .100" short. Which is double their given + /- of .050" Also a bit of rough handling on the ends. Red circles. The ONLY reason I measured these this precisely is, I know the machinist in our shop gets upset about .001" - .002" out of spec. Thickness and width are a few thousandths short, (0.002" - .005"). I know being .100" short, would drive him nuts. I'm a mechanic so these served my need very well, and I will buy these again when I have a need. AND CRAZY FAST SHIPPING!!!

This is exactly what I need for a project.Where else will you find 1x2x8" aluminum bar stock?Through amazon I found what I wanted in three minutes. Delivered the next day.This bar stock from Mouyat appears to be of high quality. I needed to make one cut a 4 3/4 inches.Bar was nice and solid. No voids or impurities to be found.I will use this supplier again.
