This is such a cool item. The globe rotates on its own by the magnetic force of the earth. Don’t have any idea how it does that, but it’s pretty awesome. Lots of different patterns and sizes to choose from.

Mova globe Antique Terrestrial 4.5. A grad gift for daughter. She loved it. Price is too high though. It took a week to arrive.

Mova brand globes and planets are so beautiful. I purchase these for special occasion gifts and the recipient is always amazed at how beautiful it is. It’s very worth the money. They last a very long time and the globe slowly spins as long as it gets natural light. You will not be disappointed with a Mova globe. Even more beautiful in person. Love them!!!

I gave the antique globe to my husband for his birthday. I first saw one on a hotel dining room table in Japan. I knew the moment I saw it that it was an unusual gift that my husband would really love. Back at home I had my sisters over for a brunch and one of them has decided to get an antique globe for her husband's birthday. The globe is beautiful and a conversation starter. I love it.

Several friends have the MOVA globe, one 4:5” and one 6”. Both are the Relief map blue. I bought the 4.5 antique terrestrial white for a Birthday gift for my granddaughter. She collects globes all sizes so the antique white was different for her collection. She loved it and the family was very impressed with how it rotates. Great conversation piece. Now I have to buy one for myself!

Desde que en 2014 vi estos globos terrestres en el Museo Nemo de la Ciencia, en Amsterdam, me enamoré de ellos.Me impresionó su secreto; el movimiento interno. Investigue sobre ellos, su funcionamiento, creación, etc. , descubriendo más tarde que el misterio tenía que ver con el sol y el magnetismo terrestre.No me atreví nunca a importarlo desde EEUU, por aquello de la distancia, aduanas, etc. Hoy, 4 años más tarde, al fin tengo uno conmigo, gracias a Amazon España.Es un objeto de decoración elegante, silencioso, original, único....He leído y oído que son algo caros. Bueno....eso sería discutible, sobre todo teniendo en cuenta su fabricación casi artesanal y su importación americana.Cuando se trata de objetos exclusivos, que hacen funciones nunca vistas, que innnovan por su diseño; señores, si se lo pueden permitir, y les gusta tanto como para tenerlo en casa o regalarlo, cómprenlo.Queda bien en cualquier lugar; salón, dormitorio, oficina, etc.Gracias a Bill French por inventar algo tan único...

Saw another version of this globe at a friends house and fell in love with it. Had to have one. It is so unique and engaging. OK, it's an adult toy but a really, really nice one. Not cheap but top quality never is. Great choice as a gift or for yourself. A definite recommendation.By the way there are many versions so check them all out.
