Method 1: Format the flash drive and change the format to EXFAT.
Formatting steps: Connect the flash drive to your computer → Double click on this computer → Right click on the disk → Select Format →Select EXFAT format.
Method 2: If the flash drive is formatted as EXFAT but cannot be recognized. Please restart your phone and re-insert the flash drive.

- How to save files or photos to a flash drive.
Step 1: Open the album/file, select the data to be transferred, and click the send button in the lower left corner.
Step 2: Pull up the pop-up menu, find 'Save to File' and click on it (if this option is not displayed, you can click on "Edit Operation" below to find this option)
Step 3: Jump to the browsing interface, enter MOVESPEED, select the save destination folder, and click "Save" in the upper right corner.

- Note on the capacity of the USB flash drive
Manufacturers of Flash (memory) or solid-state drive devices generally calculate in 1000 as the decimal, i.e. 1KB=1000Bytes, 1GB=1000M, and operating systems calculate capacity in 1024 as the binary, i.e. 1KB=1024Bytes, 1GB=1024M, and the reported capacity after formatting will be less than the nominal capacity. System files also take up a small amount of space under different operating systems. For example: Nominal capacity 128GB, actual capacity about 117GB; nominal capacity 256GB, actual capacity about 238GB
- About the USB Flash Drive heating phenomenon
It is normal for USB flash drives to get a little hot. When the USB flash drive is powered on, it will transfer data, causing the electronic components inside the drive to give off heat. The chip generates heat according to factors such as the length of power-on time, the frequency of read and write operations, and the speed of read and write. Because metal has good thermal conductivity and heat dissipation, heating of the metal USB flash drive is a normal phenomenon, which is not a quality problem. The USB flash drive chip can withstand a high temperature of 85°C and the USB flash drive will not be damaged by the heat. Please rest assured use.
- About the read/write speed of USB flash drive
The read and write speed of the USB flash drive is affected by many factors such as computer configuration, interface, file size, etc.
Interface Tips: MOVESPEED USB3.2 drive is backward compatible with USB3.1/3.0/2.0 interface. Only when the port you connect is USB3.2 Gen2 or higher, the speed can reach up to 550MB/s（Peak）. If you connect a USB3.1/3.0/2.0 interface, the transmission speed is limited by the interface and can only be backward compatible up to the transmission speed of each interface.
The test environment data of MOVE SPEED product comes from the laboratory. If you use a device below the test environment configuration to transfer files, or copy more file documents or pictures, the actual transfer speed will be lower than the nominal speed in various degrees. The transfer speed of solid-state products such as solid-state USB flash drive/SSD is affected by Flash particles.
- Instructions for copying files over 4GB
For better compatibility with the operating system, the default file system for USB flash drives is FAT32, with a maximum unit file size of 4GB. In order to be better compatible with the operating system, the default file system for USB flash drives is FAT32, and its maximum unit file size is 4GB. If you need to store individual files over 4GB, it is recommended that you reset the file system in the following way: 1. connecting the storage product to the computer; 2. right-clicking on the partition and selecting Format; 3. select exFAT format in the file system options; 4. Click Start to finish.

Great little flash drive to backup an media that's needed. Can use on phone, table, or laptop/notebook. Was surprised at the size of this unit and appreciated that it can with a type of key fob that can be secured to keep from easily losing it. I can see how this can be very very easy to lose - its so small. Great size on the device however the write speed did not seem to match what was advertised. If not in a hurry, a great little device.

Al tatto leggermente pesante, ma da l'idea di essere robusto, e questo da una sorta di garanzia. La chiusura USB e leggermente magnetica mentre la tipo C si chiude con piccolo scatto. Piccoli particolari che denotano cura nella progettazione. Un 'altro mondo rispetto alle chiavette standard. La velocità non l'ho misurata, ma è decisamente veloce. Consegna Amazon ottima. This product was highly anticipated by me as I require constant high-speed transfer of large files. After some poor experiences by other companies selling 2TB USB-A/C drives, I decided to purchase the 2TB PRO version of this Move Speed flash drive. I've had a positive experience with another product from this company, the 70,000mAh 100W portable charger, so I decided to pay the extra money and purchase this product, which I thought was also going to be high end and high quality.Upon receiving it, I was happy to see the same packaging as the other product. However, once I removed the drive from the package I was disappointed that the part covering and protecting the USB-A side to not properly hold shut like the USB-C side, with it constantly swinging open and not holding shut. Not a big deal, but definitely an annoyance.Next, I scanned the QR code on the instructions, which installed a program onto my phone that was difficult to understand since it was all in Chinese. Once I put the drive into my Z Fold 4, the program immediately opened and I could not figure out how to transfer files to it, or from it, but eventually upon removing it from my phone I found that it copied many files, pictures, and even contacts to the flash drive. They were no longer on my phone either, which was a big disappointment and I struggled to find the meta data associated with these files and could not find all the images which were now no longer on the drive or phone. This was very disappointing, so proceed with caution and do not install the app from the QR code unless you understand what it will do and are comfortable with it. I was not, and also unable to recover many files, photos, and contacts. I am still baffled that it did such a transfer without my permission.I decided to test the transfer speeds of the device on my multiple computers, with my main computer having USB 4.0 V2 and Thunderbolt-4 ports (both USB-C and backwards compatible to all lesser versions of USB such as USB 3.2 Gen 2x2. I ran software to test the drive speed, and unfortunately it did not live up to the advertised specifications. I managed to achieve sequential read speeds above 1000m /s, however the write speeds were around 400mb/s, much lower than the advertised speeds, and I ran this test multiple times from 128mb to 64GB with the same results.Overall, proceed with caution, back up your files, and do not expect good or steady performance from this drive. When transferring files from my computer to this drive I had unstable write speeds ranging from 300mb/s to 14mb/s despite the fact that I was only transferring large files sequentially to the device.In summary, do not purchase if you are expecting the advertised speeds, and refrain from installing the app from the QR code on the instructions inside the box when it is opened. The product I received was not made well, with the USB-A port unprotected due to a latch that wouldn't hold shut, so there is poor QC. Diskmarkpro8 scores were also disappointing, and the drive had benchmarks less than half that which it advertised for write speeds. Finally, ensure that you understand the app that will be installed on your phone and prepare for files to be deleted and un-retrievable if you plug the drive into your phone. Every drive I plug into my phone now opens up that app automatically.I was very sad and disappointed, since years of history worth of files were now gone, and I am left with a device which was expensive, yet failed to meet the advertised speeds. Upon receiving it to using it, I experienced one disappointment to another, and would not recommend this drive to anyone who values transfer speed, reliability, constant transfer speeds, and safe guarding of all files that were put onto the drive. The only positive part is that the 2TB worth of space was indeed there on the drive.

Bought the drive to replace an external hard drive that failed. So far this device has been fast. I have tested using it as the primary data source instead of the built in hard drive on my laptop. I have noticed no decrease in performance when I use it as the primary source.

This drive is plenty fast, enough to work off of. It feels high quality and the leather sachet is nice. But this drive gets hot and when unplugging the casing will separate from the board leading to hassle. I bent the tabs on the collar to hold the casing better and haven't had separation issues since.
