It is not as easy to put in as I thought it would be. I have an appointment with my mechanic for him to put it in next week.

This product worked for a week, and then it stopped working. My car would start to shut off any time I pressed the break even once I had been driving for a while. Removed the remote start and my car starting working fine again.

Christmas gift so haven't installed yet but nice instructions!!! :) Fortin-All unit received as expected pre-flashed. Look forward to installing. I like the MPC instructions, better then Start-X. Will update after the install. No issues with installation, of note if you want the doors hooked up to the cmd start… I added a rf kit… there is direct/tap into 2 wires required to connect the door locks. These connections are not part of the plug and play harness.Easy install works as expected, when programming the key, run/on is starting the vehicle, and swap keys as quick as possible, I was a little slow in swapping and had to reprogram a couple times.Support was responsive and were able to provide some quick clarifications.

Takes a little while but read the directions ahead of time, there's a few steps that take seconds and if you are reading while trying to sinc the key's you will time out,

2015 Ford Escape SE. Plug and Play. Hardest part is removing and re-installing the Ford trim pieces. Make sure you have 2 physical Ford Admin keys with key blades that go in the ignition. Ford My Key (less than an Admin Key did not work).Once I set the My Key to a 2nd Admin key the programming process went just fine. Online instructions were fine. Plenty of YouTube videos out there as well.

After researching remote starters, I purchased from MPC on Amazon for 2 reasons: 1) the device came pre-programed for my vehicle, and 2) it came with installation support if something went wrong. I AM SO GLAD I CHOSE MPC! I am pretty mechanical, but when the device didn't work (manufacture's issue, not MPC), the support team was very patient and informed. In the end they replaced the faulty components, paid all necessary return shipping, and now I have a very happy wife with a remote starter. Thank you MPC!

No doubt it's very easy to install and uses factory key with default but external range antenna with remote should be included in the package for the price they are charging. They are selling same product for different vechicles around $150 and for Ford escape it's over $225.

Bought this Remote Start kit B4370-209 for my wife's 2016 Ford Escort for a Christmas present as we live where it gets very cold in the winter season. Opened the box, read instructions COMPLETELY before starting. (You will need to download specific instructions for your vehicle. YouTube videos are a good reference but DON'T USE THEM FOR INSTRUCTIONS! Use the one you download! I didn't realize it but still missed one small detail when programming the unit at the very end of installation so the remote start didn't work right away. I called tech support at 9am their time on CHRISTMSA EVE and was greeted by friendly person who took my information. Tech support called me back (another friendly and helpful person) within about 5 minutes and we started a support "ticket". All my questions were answered by email within an hour. I went back outside started the programming procedure over and SUCCESS! Within 3 minutes everything worked as it should. I gave this a five star review because the installation instructions were thorough with pictures and step by step instructions for the installation and programming, the wiring harness was pre-made and easily plugs in and works with the existing wiring harness connectors with only two simple "manual" connections to be made by splicing into the existing obdII plug wiring, and had I not missed the one step during programming I would have had it installed, programmed and working in about 20 minutes. (My kit came with optional hood pin and valet parking wiring which I did not feel I needed so did not install. Probably take another 20 minutes or so to install those.) Removal of the steering column cover required a torx head driver and a #7mm 1/4" drive socket and extension. Use a thin but sturdy plastic scraper (to prevent scratching and damaging the cover) about 1 to 2 inches wide to separate the two halves of the steering column cover after removing the two bolts retaining the lower cover by inserting it in between the two halves on both sides and twisting and pushing to release the locking tabs. Follow the instructions EXACTLY as they are shown and you will be up and running very quickly. Anyone with automotive mechanical and electrical experience will have no problem installing. If you are not a mechanic but are mechanically inclined and understand some electrical as well you should have no problem installing this kit. Just take your time and read and follow the instructions. Great value for the money, quick and easy to install and very helpful and friendly staff.
