This is bad, way to slippery. Meats just slip right out of my hands. No texture to grip. Also, to stiff. Do not buy!

Good product, was able to just grab the meat directly off the grill. We also used it to pull apart the meat for serving. The gloves saved time and we dirtied less utensils. Only complaint is that they don’t have grips. Meat tends to be greasy and it makes the gloves slippery. I couldn’t pull them off my own hands, had to have assistance lol.

These gloves were my saviors during this past Thanksgiving. Our family decided to try out frying our turkey and when placing the turkey in the oil, there's a bit of splatter yet these gloves give you safety and confidence. Once the splatter begins, it's almost intuitive to just lower it down faster or drop it out of fear which could lead to serious injury. I had super hot oil splatter all over these things and didn't feel a thing. I also used them to get a good hold of the turkey when I was carving it. I put them on and wash my hands with regular soap as you would wash bare hands. I've used them already this year when barbecuing to flip kabobs by hand with ease. Perfect for flipping stakes over a 600+ °F grill, and they even fend off heat enough to allow direct handling of hot items straight out of the grill for a short time.18 months update: since I'd bought these gloves basically at random and had a great experience, I thought there could be even better ones around and dove into the different alternatives listed at Amazon and settled on because of the 100% grain leather description, the plentiful good reviews and the high average user rating… I was greatly disappointed: those gloves might protect you from open flame for an instant, but are totally unsuitable for grilling or BBQ, they transfer heat almost immediately and are not fit to handle anything hot, like cast iron handles, drip pans, baking trays, etc.I’ve ended up comming back to this old battered Mr. Bar-B-Q gloves, which still do a much better job insulating my hands from heat after 18 months of grilling (several times a week) and sporadical ill-advised abuse: spreading red hot lump charcoal embers directly by hand, carrying a hot ceramic pizza stone some 30 ft. away, and some other similarly tomfoolery, with not a single singed finger for it… I’ll be getting a new pair soon.
