The cage was pretty easy to put together. It's sturdy and well made. Overall it's what you would expect from a dog crate.

This is a great crate. It is all metal. It was easy to put up and take down. I use it for outside, so not having a tray is fine for me. It is worth the price.

This dog crate is very well built, sturdy, and will last a very long time. I am super happy with it. It would make a perfect sleeping den in a bedroom and could be doubly useful with a tabletop on top of it. I am using it to provide a safe, contained potty area for my little dog when I am unable to pay one hundred percent attention to him when I take him out to potty. He can wander off if my attention is diverted and until I get a fence built on my property, I need a safe place to put him occassionally. This crate doesn't have a base, so I can just set it on ground for him. I love that it has a top to also keep him protected because we have hawks in our area and he's little and they could injure him at the very least. It's easy to move around so I can clean up easily also.

Product is clearly a returned item-box is torn with holes, hardware was loose and missing pieces( mostly likely through the boxes holes) and packaging straps were cut, product is extremely scratched indicating someone has tried to put this together before

This review is for the Mr IRONSTONE Dog Crate Small Dog Kennel Dog House Indoor Dog Cage for Small Medium Large Dogs, Puppy Dog Playpen, Pet Cage, 24" H x 48" L.So I've had lots of diff brands/types of kennels/crates in my lifetime and you learn real fast when you have strong dogs/animals which are good/strong sturdy, have good features and will stand the test of time, and which are junk. This kennel/pen is a good one with a couple caveats!The side panels are heavy duty metal framing with lighter weight inner wires for horizontal/vertical, the top ones are lighter weight. I also feel the horizontal wires are a bit too far apart, if they were closer together the panels would be stronger. So what does this translate into for real world application? It means if you have an escape artist dog, a dog with seperation anxiety, a big strong dog that demolishes things... this is not the kennel for you!If you have a small to medium sized dog/dogs, well behaved dogs, cats/kittens, bunnies, chickens/ chicks, baby goats/ lambs, an injured animal of appropriate size... then this might be a good option for you. Do keep in mind there is no bottom in this and there is a gap between the floor and bottom rail, that could be an issue for a puppy not fully housebroken or if you have a dog that has trouble controlling themselves, have tiny puppies/kittens/chicks, have an escape artist strong dog as they could potentially lift this and get out, if using this outside to free range rabbits/chicks/chickens or say a turtle...it's NOT predator proof from the bottom even though it's protected from the top...If using indoors for like orphan lambs/bottle fed baby goats/chicks/baby ducks... I always used to put a couple layers of good thick plastic taped really good to the bottom of the cage, then use old sheets/blankets/ pine shavings/waterproof washable pads... also the metal panels on top would allow you to set a heat lamp on top of the enclosure if needed.Great option to keep your dog contained outside if you don't have a fenced in yard, wireless fence... or for camping/RV'ing... If you don't need to ever access this from the top you could also cut a piece of plywood and put on the top, throw a nice table cloth over it and use it as a table too next to a couch or bed. Could also use the panels as a gate.To the lady with the cats (Old Grey Mare) review, you can get food/water stainless steel dishes that have a bar that screws onto the side of the pen and the bowl sits down inside a loop. I have some I use for my little fluffy poodle mix gal as she likes to pretend she has to bury her food/water for later! LOL. She can make a mess if I let her! I have to seperate my gang for feeding as my big guy rottie (that's my service dog) is on RX food, my rescue female rottie was starved/abused before I got her and she's a pig that will literally eat nonstop until she throws up, and my little gal needs her own food. So everybody gets their own food catered to their needs and can eat in comfort.So this is a good option for some but not all. It has it's good points and less than perfect points.Regular price $ 89.99 per the listing and there's a 20% off coupon, it's a good option but as I always say, watch for a sale/coupon deal, browse listings...As always I only do honest reviews and update if needed.
