I love the versatility of using the water beads. I used some as a vase filler for a wedding anniversary celebration and everyone loved them. I especially love the large water beads and mixing the two sizes in vases to give a different design look.

I'm not sure what I'll do with the large ones. I may soak them all in water, then break them and use them for a water absorbing soil amendment. I also thought about using a few for target practice. I bet they make an awesome splat! ...and are good for water retention in the lawn.I'm going to keep some of the small ones for going into vases of cut flowers to ensure the water level doesn't drop too quickly. Many of the rest will be going into some potting mixes to see if this helps with leveling out the need for water in my indoor greenhouse.And some of them will just be in jars on the windowsills because they look cool. :)Lastly, I've seen a couple of reviews complaining that they didn't absorb water and the picture is a bunch of them on a tarp. These absorb a LOT of water. Putting them in the rain isn't going to net you very much. As few as half a teaspoon will absorb up to a cup of water or more.
