These plates are definitely great for sushi. They are plastic and super lightweight. I think they have the potential to hold a stain, but have only seen one on one plate. But I don't have to worry about them breaking which a plus in my house hold.

These are the perfect little โbowlsโ for sauces and gravyโs. They are the perfect size to be able to dip chicken strips into gravy, bbq or any other sauce you would want to use. We use them for a variety of things like sweet and sour for egg rolls, salsa for breakfast burritos, ranch for celeryโฆthe possibilities are really endless. I love that they are dishwasher safe, but clean up very easily if you wash by hand. These are great addition to any kitchen.

Though is is for sushi I have used this for size dishes ie kimchi or salad. The size is small which is perfect for side dishes how ever this is not made of ceramic it is resin based and feels like a durable plastic but food safe.

I like these plates fine. But they don't look or feel like quality. I am really undecided about them to be honest. They look nicer in the picture than in real life.

I don't make a lot of sushi, but I thought these plates would be great for serving other Asian dishes such as pad Thai... and they are so cute!I also have a set of white bowls which we often use for soups, and these are the perfect size to use for a salad, bread, or dessert alongside them.We are military and move a lot, so I like melamine dishes for their light weight and durability. I would look for more pieces from this company in the future!

We love to make and eat sushi, so figured we would enjoy having some nice sushi plates. I thought these were ceramic, but was disappointed to realize they are actually plastic (melamine). I looked back, and realize the title does say they are melamine. I guess at the time, I didn't really know what melamine was - I figured it was another kind of stonewear or ceramic, like the difference between marble and quartzite. Now I know. I'd like them much better if they were ceramic or a similar material, but I do like the style and white color, not to distract from the colorful sushi!

This is a pack of square dishes. They look ok and a do what they are supposed to do. They are good for a rough environment where porcelain might crack, like an outdoor picnic. They are light weighted and easy to be cleaned. They are good for sushi and other charcuterie items. They are BPA free and safe for food. Though I would not put them into an oven or microwave. They can also used for small flower pots to catch excess water and make the flower arrangement more beautiful.Somehow I thought I did order the smaller bowls for sauces. That could have been my fault clicking on the wrong bottom.
