I've had good results other Mr. Shield screen protectors in the past, so I didn't understand why these had such a poor rating. I just got a new OLED Steam Deck, and I wanted a nice matte display for it. It seems like finding NON-glass screen protectors is getting harder and harder, so I quickly ordered these as there aren't a lot of others like them. They are cut almost exactly the size of the display bezel, so there is very little wiggle room for getting them centered. It would be nice if they were maybe half a mm shorter on each size so that you don't have to spend so much time making sure they are centered. Once I got it centered, it went on without issue. The protector does peel off the screen without much effort, but I did not find that to be a bad thing. In fact, it made it easier to peel the protector back up to fish out any specs of dust or dirt, ensuring the end result looked great. I guess time will tell if the ease of peeling up will cause any problems. Just check the photos of the end-result, they speak for themselves. Going with a cheaper Steam Deck and then adding these protectors can yield better end-result that going with the more-expensive etched-glass Steam Deck and dealing with glossy screen protectors. I'm actually going to order another pack of these, since it seems to be getting harder to find NON-glass screen protectors.

My bf and I both got these for our Decks. Mine never even arrived. I always apply screen protectors for other people so I probably have done it half a dozen times and never wasted a single one.This time I ended up throwing away all 3. The problem is that the adhesive is useless! It's weaker than masking tape! Every time, I initially applied the screen perfectly, managed to get out bubbles with some difficulty, but when I removed the masking on the front the screen lifted up with it. I tried holding the corner down and it still lifted the rest of the screen off, resulting in bubbles and dust and that's that, it's ruined.The last time, I removed the masking on both sides before applying the film (though you shouldn't need to do that because the point of the masking is to protect the film while pushing bubbles out!) This time, by the time I worked out the bubbles, I realized one edge was delaminating! One side is too long! The left edge was flush with the frame and the right had a very tiny overhang which made it impossible to lay completely flat.That didn't really matter though, because the other edges were lifting too 😆 Trying to press them back down was futile... Like there was zero adhesive.If I had even tried using the stickers included to align the edges (like a hinge) those would have pulled the screen off too.The worst part is that the matte film is so nice looking. It WOULD be good product if not for the terrible lack of adhesion. Instead it's just more garbage in a landfill.I had to settle for a regular shiny glass screen because reviews for the matte glass aren't promising. I'm sad because of how great it looks but hopefully someday a good anti-glare Deck protector will exist ...Just DO NOT get these ones, I know this brand's other products have decent ratings but this one is a miss.
