1st step :Pull on your French cuff shirt: start by pulling on the shirt and allowing the cuff flaps on each arm to spread over your hands.
2nd step: Fold the cuff flaps back : Now fold back the cuffs on each side, making sure each cuff's buttonholes align.
3rd step: Fasten the cuffs: Pass the cuff links through the holes on each side of the cuff and twist them so they cannot pass back through the buttonholes.

I know that monitors vary quite a bit when it comes to colors, but this description is way off and it's not the first time I've had this issue with ordering something purple that turned out to be pink. For some reason China thinks fuchsia is purple. It is not. The majority of the colors in these "purple" cuff links are actually baby pink and fuchsia. They don't match his tie or my gown, so we'll have to return them. There's no green in them, either, so the title description is very misleading. I was expecting lavender, purple and violet with touches of green, which would've been perfect had the stones been those actual hues. If you're not as picky about colors, these cuff links are nice and appear to be of good quality and that's why I gave them 3 stars.One more note: make sure you don't order them at the same time as something big & heavy (like cat litter), because I almost threw the box out thinking they were going to be delivered separately when I didn't see them in there the first time. Glad I double checked!

So these look nice, they actually have a good weight to them. They don't feel like lightweight trash. The color is good, I only gave it 4 stars because the dark spots on the ones in the picture, are actually a light gray. If I can take a good picture I'll update this review. I'll also update it as well if these cufflinks end up being poo.
