Melt slow. Worked as expected & used in fun craft with kids 6-12 years old. Just use lots of precautions as wax in HOT!

This wax is lovely. It takes to liquid dye EXTREMELY well. (A drop of dye goes a LONG) way. The wax is extremely prone to bubbles and to becoming clouded. As stated above be careful adding dye.The amount is good for a kit but I’d prefer experimenting (effing up) on a larger amount.I’m not sure if included wicks are metal based (as suggested for gel waxed) so that concerns me.So far, I’ve gone through 16 pounds of gel wax and I’ve only had a single candle result that I was happy with. (This may be user error or it may be properties of gel wax. The jury is out.)

Expensive product but if you’re looking to make clear candles this is a great product. It burn 3xs as long as other wax also. Great product!
