I bought this furnace in September of 2019. After I posted my review, the listing for the item was taken down. I just found it relisted today so I am reposting my review from the original listing. The following is the original review:I bought this furnace for ashing samples in an asbestos analysis lab. When it arrived, I noticed it looked pretty cheap, the overall construction was haphazard, it did not have an electrical specification placard and there was a lot of dust coming off the door gasket.I didn't have a 220V outlet yet so it sat in my lab unused waiting for that to be installed. Before that could happen, I noticed that the door gasket looked a lot like asbestos insulation from samples that come through my lab. I took three samples from the gasket and all three contained chrysotile asbestos. This gasket is glued to the inner face of the door and is not pictured in the photos on the item's web page.I assumed it would be an easy returns process since the item was not as described and contained no warnings about asbestos or natural mineral fibers. My first message to the seller went unanswered. The return request I filed with the seller was rejected because it was outside the returns period. The return claim I filed with Amazon was denied for being outside the return period and the appeal of that decision was denied as well.This furnace is a contamination hazard for my lab, a health hazard for anyone who works near it, and is now a piece of hazardous waste that I have to pay to get rid of. If you are going to buy a furnace just pay a little bit more to buy one from a reputable supplier.
