I bought this to cut plastic. Full disclosure, I have not tried it on wood. The cut wasn't as exact as I would have liked, and it wasn't a clean cut. I made it work because the plastic was being used in my laundry room. If it was anywhere else in my house, I think I would have purchased a more exacting tool.

I was cutting some small trim to put around a large picture frame. Couldn’t imagine having to use a miter box for such a thing. This made precise, clean cuts. It just made the whole project so easy

They do not cut straight. Purchased the cutters to use on foam trim that is 1/2” wide. They cut at an angle. I wouldn’t recommend them.

Worked well for the 1/2 trim, but watch for the nut on the bottom, it gets loose really easily. If you don't keep it tight, the screw will fall out and you might just lose the spring.

I had a lot of quarter round to install and this tool saved all trips to a chop saw and there’s no saw dust cleanup. Cuts are crisp and easy. Reduces waste too.
