There is no way an adult—even someone with small hands and forearms—can pass his/her arm through the rear handles to hold it “shield” style, which is basically all I use this type of strike pad for. For the price, it’s useless—but because of the high shipping cost I don’t want to return it.I bought on faith because of stellar reviews. I wish someone else had said what I’m saying now.

Super strong. Adults can kick the crap out of me and I won't get winded. I like all the handles around the pad; helps me position for various strikes.

This body shield was just delivered today, so I haven't had a chance to use it yet. However, I have used many different types of body shields over the last 30 years and this is the best quality I've ever seen. I believe it will provide years of service. If it ever wears out, I will definitely buy again.

This pad is great! I can tell it will last us years. it has lots of handles, I just wish it had one at the very bottom. Overall, highly recommended.

This bad is bombproof and has lots of handles so you can hold it for different kicking and punching techniques. The hard padding and tough leather will take a lot of abuse, but it will also take a long time to break in. This is probably not best pad if you work with kids, but for hard-hitting adults it's great!
