It has several levels and the temperature can be set for different food. The sandwich it makes tastes crispy and delicious, it is a very convenient food processor to grill too, very efficiently.

Just pull this panini press out, turn it on and it's hot very quickly. It does a great job on sandwiches other items that need grilling. This non-stick unit is so easy to clean and has a removable drip tray. I like the size. Fits a good size sandwich and is easy to store.

*Update 1/26/2025Just an FYI: If there is a way to get this to convert degrees F instead of C, I can't find it.I was excited to see the description of the Panini Press Sandwich Maker, 1200W 4 Slice Sandwich Toaster, Removable Drip Tray & Non-Stick Coated Plates, Open 180°, 3-In-1 Electric Indoor Grill w/5 Auto Modes, Temperature Control & Timer that, word for word as in their description: "GRILL, GRIDDLE, & WAFFLE PLATES OPTIONS: Reversible GRILL, GRIDDLE, and WAFFLE PLATES are included with every purchased grill."There are no other plates in the box other than the grill ones that are already attached. I thought maybe it was a reversible thing, but after taking a plate out and turning it over, it was just a regular ole back to a grill plate.I was excited about getting griddle and waffle plates - the only reason I ordered this.

I have been wanting one but I was hesitating about it, since I already have quite a few kitchen appliance. After a few days, I quickly become one of my favorite! So convenient! I can grill steak, fish, sausage on it. The double grill is a must have now. It is so easy to make things crusty. I got the perfect hash brown from it. It is also way easier to use than air fryer. Cooks very fast!Another thing is the design is very compact so it actually doesn’t take too much space. I can totally see myself bring it with me when doing road trips.

Cleaning is also a breeze thanks to the non-stick coating; a quick wipe, and it’s spotless. The price is very reasonable, making it an excellent value for money.
