I have wanted a pair of tactical folding shears so when these became available I grabbed a pair. They fold up nice and small and are built very well. I take them with me when we go scuba diving. I don't take these in the water but I use them to cut everything when not diving. It does exactly what I want it to and has some nice options if you are utilizing them for EDC. The glass breaker is very sharp and will work perfectly. The strap cutter is easy to get to when needed. The shears open and lock in place with stout push button locks so you do not have to worry about them folding up when you are using them. The only thing that I do not like is that the glass breaker sticks up out of the holster, and when you have a "muffin top" like I do it can get a little pokey. All in all these are great shears so I could not remove a star due to my lack of working out. Nice shears.

So I'm a super fan of the name brand product and I was expecting these to fall short. I've taken these shears with me to do anything I've used the others for and haven't been disappointed yet. This product has all the features of the more expensive version and has held up well. I'll keep using these for the time being and will be back if they fail. If you have to buy your own gear or want the colors offered by this product, go ahead and buy this. It does come with the plastic holder and just like the name brand it holds very tightly there. Me, I just use the clip on the shears to keep on my belt or inside my pocket. Good value purchase $

We carry trauma shears in our vehicles. While we are not medical professionals, these touch shears can come in handy. There is a nice tip on one of the handles you can use to break glass (like a car window). The shears can easily cut through seatbelt material and just about anything else you throw at them. The case is a nice touch. They fold up nicely so they don't take up much room at all. These are a great addition to your first aid kit or your emergency car kit.

I ordered these to try them out in comparison to Raptor shears. These have similar features, and are very sharp. I'm taking away a star because when folded, the blue handle and the attached seatbelt cutter swivel a little bit too freely for my liking, and when opened, the black handle sometimes has difficulty engaging with the locking mechanism. I find that the only way to ensure that it is locked in position is to squeeze both handles together once it's deployed, until you hear the click from the mechanism. Not really a huge deal if you train muscle memory to do it, but if someone is expecting it to work just fine, they'll just end up collapsing the one side instead of opening the scissor blades.

These are great for a lot of different things! My wife works as an RT at the hospital, and she loves these! They are very well made, and they're sharp! These easy cut through a variety of different material with ease! These are definitely worth the cost. They come with a plastic sheath that can be easily mounted on a bag or belt. They fuld up nicely for easy storage, and the locking mechanism works really well. These are very easy to clean, and they're resistant to a variety of different things, oils, chemicals, etc.
