Even though the none stick surface was a bit damaged I wanted to try it hoping it would work better than it looked. As you can see the scratches which won't be good for long use as they will probably chip or peal after wear. I wanted to give it a try though hoping it would be better than expected. It heated to a boil in about 2 to 3 minutes, and I thought wow this is great. But what happened next was a disaster. The glass that is a part of the lid fell off as soon as the heat was to a boiling point causing the clips to no longer hold it firm. The glass fell right into the pot of ramen. If I am to ever us it I will need to make my own type of clips to hold it in place... maybe some stainless steal screws. I doubt I will try to do that and will probable just toss it away as non usable. Sad day.
